I don't think it's the kind of manga where the character reaches the lowest point of their life and then struggles to go back up. If anything this manga is just what its premise is, a neko girl struggling with her nicotine addiction. It's a dark side of life we don't get to see often presented in manga. It just goes the show that, neko or not, they all struggle in this cruel world.
