I blissfully forgot we were supposed to get a flashback chapter until I started reading the first page... then I basically just skipped through it without really reading it and I feel better for it. I seriously doubt there will be ANYTHING in this sequence that is pivotal to the story, so not going to spend more energy than necessary on this dreck.

Ahh...I see.
Makoto is like Ushigome. No wonder she's a bit lenient about Ushigome's additional event.

But the difference between Makoto's group and Ushigome's group is Saotome. He was there acting like a glue for each girl. He once did something for the girl on the personal level (even with or without him realizing), so the girls repay him by willingly helping him in this event. While Makoto at that time just simply forcing her will to everyone around her and it's unpleasant for them.

Well...another reason why Ushigome's group doing so well is simply because they were thirsty of Saotome, so when Saotome ask for their help, they easily give an okay, despite them already so busy with their own event. 😂

I get it author, she is a really nice diligent and responsible good girl

But she is also graduating this year, and since her whole gig is that she is a responsible girl, she is not going to be held back, so why are you teasing her as a possible new member, when she wont be around for the next period?

Idk if the school was always delinquents... but I mean some of them were her friends, or at least she thought so.

Mostly expected. She failed at what the current main story girls succeeded. But it's still too disconnected for that. Too much for too much of a side character. Sure, she has had a certain amount of focus the most recent chapters, but she's been completely absent for the vast majority of the series, so she's just a newcomer who doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.
