I just think that author introduced too many heroines and does't know how to use them to make the story move forward. He still needs to create 4 more rejection scenarios and the final confession. at this pace we'll need to hit Hajime no hippo chapter numbers to see all of that

There's too many girls man. I remember liking everyone in this chapter when they first showed up but now I kinda don't care what they're up to now that Ushigome may have forced some romance into the 300 chapter romance Manga.

What I really liked about the story was seeing the MC move past the initial bullying and impress everyone with how he's genuinely interested in fashion. It's great seeing their friendship and diligence grow, and for the MC to gain confidence. The romance at this point is just getting in the way. All the girls are "nice". But honestly they work best in the style of them being challenges with the MC having to overcome their prejudices about men in fashion (and him at a former all girls school) and then gaining their mutual respect and admiration. Like the "conquering" part of the rom com is the most interesting. After that there's not much else to happen. There's already a clear winner for endgame, and the way this Manga is there's not much they can do if the MC actually starts dating anyone and the chase/game phase is gone.
