This series constantly has some changes, it's just the fact that these changes are 80% about things outside the main romance. And I know that it's a hot take, but I genuinely enjoy it that way.

I mean, I agree that's nice, and I also enjoy it.

It's just sad that there have been groups of chapters in a row that just feel like the focus girls for some part of them are getting to spend time with Saotome, but not get any personal development out of it besides maybe "some confidence" or acting more aggressively for their goals, beyond actually hogging Saotome alone for a bit.

They aren't going to land Saotome in the end, so at least pacing the chapters where nobody gets anything besides some personal satisfaction out of it would have been nice... which is why these recent chapters are somewhat nicer.

I agree with that. I wish more girls had chapters like Yuna's rejection chapter.

Story should have ended shortly after Kuzuhana's training camp.
But no they milk the story as much as they can until nobody cares about it
