Now you’d think that this being the 300th episode and with a setup like that we’d actually see some plot progression… Nah probably not something or someone will have noticed them sneaking off and will burst in just as Hanako confesses making just enough noise to make it so Saotome will assume she was talking about loving juice or something and they will milk this will they/wont they for another 200 chapters at least… I mean they need to graduate high school, and introduce 5 or 6 more potential harem members before having them go off to University. (At which point Saotome will meet other male students and realize that he has actually been one of the girls all along…)

I do think it's funny that here, Saotome says that he was unconfident because he never had anything but fashion, yet when he was a shoo-in for StuCo president, he explicitly shut that down because he wanted to focus solely on fashion.

It almost seems like a plot hole, but I'm sure the author, with his keen eye for detail and plot development, will have an explanation in due time, and then I'll look quite silly for worrying over nothing.
