I mean, they are like 16 and 20, and Yukio is petite also, but they both have times where they act mature and earnest and times when they're childish. They've fought and found common ground and made up, the relationship itself is pretty emotionally mature for a couple of teenagers, probably because of each of their individual trauma. I've seen way worse romance in anime, both in terms of they act like kids, and in terms of one of the two LOOKS like.I don't mean to be offensive or mean or anything, I just don't feel the exact romance vibe from this comic, FMC is just too short and kiddish... where as MC is proper teen.
If I had to guess, it's less about the mangaka, and more about the editors and the magazine.Why are mangaka so scared of sex?
