Bullshit. A mature man doesn't start crying when they come in with the cure. And she's not even his first mother.
Just bad writing and melodrama.
Wow, that’s fucking delusional. Are you serious? The manga even explained that she wasn’t gonna be able to take the cure on her own at that point, because, you know, she was in the process of
dying? He wasn’t just standing there crying because she might die in a few days if she doesn’t take the cure now, if the dad didn’t do what he did, it would’ve been too late! She would have died right there, and he would’ve finished the temporary cure just in time to watch her die right in front of him because she couldn’t take it herself!
And it
is his first mother, by the way, the isekai’d soul got combined with Ridds. So while he does have memories of his life in Japan, he’s also still a seven year old kid watching his mum die in front of him. He’s both people combined into one, and as such he has all of the memories from both.
And all that aside, why should it even matter? Someone he cares about is about to die, with seemingly nothing he can do to stop it. It’s more ridiculous that you don’t understand why someone
would cry in that situation, regardless of whether it’s his first mother or not.
