Wimble is dead. MC teleports to see how she is doing in the North Tower. She is living in luxury while in exile and he doesn't see it as a suitable punishment for her. So he blows her up and the tower.

Damn, now that is actually a reasonable action by the MC.
I can't even recall last time a reasonable justice was carried out personally by an MC after MC verified the perpetrators/offending party. Although I'm guessing his action is likely influenced by his past life in modern society where the rich and powerful simply retire in luxury regardless of their crimes.

Then i saw the spoilers and now i´m like... so where is this going, i´m happy with a no nonsense MC (who is also married and with healthy friendships) doing whatever... but we kind of need a plot no?

It feels pretty light as punishments go though. Or rather...she hasn't necessarily stopped being a problem?

The confinement is permanent. The plan was to have Wimble stay in the tower for the rest of her life. It's "practically" a death sentence for nobles who live on social standing and power to rule.

If they don't have the heart to do it themselves, just hand her over to the guy and let him act as the executioner.

And so he did.
