I'm gonna guess that Mona leaving on the spot and not returning to her village will be nticed and someone will understand the only reason she could stop her job in the information unit is because she found what she was searching.
Her leaving in a maid outfit, that she used when she worked for a specific person would only make it easier to understand.
If she was smart she would have done a couple other missions, created false mail to herself and left saying she doesn't feel the drive for the job anymore.
Well, in the end is the author deciding this kind of routes, and the next one will probably be similar to the first kingdom, they try to force MC or blakmail him with his friend life and he nukes their ass.
This is literally like trying to get the Hulk to work for you, it doesn't work unless he likes you, force him and he will punch the shit out of you.
The people in this world aren't stupid, we noticed that, the first princess attempt to get MC, the second princess making the connection he had someone close he was protecting, Mona istanlty understanding the embrodery.
The problem is that for their position the nobles aren't used to things not going as they want and believe that MC feats were pumped up in the stories and when he did them it wasn't easy and the people that got him angry gone overboard, and they don't understand that asking for MC to help people of that world is the first step to that, he did it once and got burned.
