I think the comparison was more to do with size and such. To extend the metaphor, with her senses (eyesight or whatever else) you could probably observe (without a microscope or the like) the continuous renewal of the skin on the back of your hand - possibly while gazing at your palm, even.

So basically, right before all of the heroes (including Lufasu) were supposed to beat the demon lord, but the demon lord mentioned something to Lufasu about the Goddess Script/Plan, and Lufasu managed to do got out and rebel, but the Goddess noticed this and tried to control all the heroes except Lufasu (and the vampire girl, assuming she manage to also deny the Goddess's control), this was the prologue, and there at the beginning we see Lufasu fighting the rest of the heroes instead of all of them were suppose to fight the demon lord. My head hurts from all of these loredump. Thanks for the chapter still.
