His soul was then transferred into this world Lufasu and is being used to keep her in check, locking away her memories and personality.

Now this is speculation but what if instead, when Lufasu was sealed away 200 years her memories and soul were transferred / reincarnated on earth as the MC. The MC subconsciously roll-played as Lufasu whilst playing the MMO, so when his mind was transferred back after being unsealed he would have a vague understanding of the events of Lufasu's life. So as the MC progresses in the plot it's not just that Lufasu is better sinking up with him, but Lufasu is regaining her memories because it was always her.
