So I'm guessing creepy guy didn't actually murder his wife and family, but will he actually tell her his backstory or keep ignoring her?
Looks like someone is confining him there. I think it seems like he was betrayed by someone close to him, maybe by a brother or even his son? And that thing he gave to Lok heun is supposed to be a warning towards the person who betrayed him. Or it could be some sort of encouragement or signal to his son. Anyways, the story is good so far and I'm interested to see what happens next!

One of those stereotypical things they say or even joke about with high level martial artists is being able to sustain themselves on the energy of the universe alone or something. @Glomoro One of my first wuxia/xianxia comics was the US translation of The Force of Buddha's Palm from Jademan Comics. It was a slice of a long running comic from a center story arc, and had a part near the end of the run where the main character, Nine Continents, had sex with a recently introduced character, Sainted Jade (IIRC). Possibly love, possibly to "save her life," it was 30 years ago, so my memory is a bit fuzzy on it. But I do remember the sex was two fully clothed martial artists lying on top of one another. We used to make fun of it, saying that it was some high level martial arts technique, "Buddha's Clothing Penetration."
