I found it very funny to see that MC is crying not because his workmate (Ninomiya) is being a cheating hoe who goes after virgins (Ch 9, Ch 20.6, Ch 44.5), but because she took it a step further and started being a generic hoe who entangled it with her own work. (Ch 42, Ch 50, Ch 53)

Nice to see MC confront her as a caring workmate(friend?) that was saddened to see her stoop so low, but it's annoying how he does that when she didn't pull him out of his "work hustler" phase (Ch 32) despite having her eyes on him.

Also, she's already divorced so is she really cheating when it is the mangaka husband that is doing so ?

I won't gonna go into the moral/ethical questionable choices both MC and the workmate had made already, since it's been established earlier on that the morals/ethics are loose in this fictional world and making the ill advised choices seems to only gets a slap on the back.

I mean I get why you'd dislike this plot if you can't actually understand what they are saying. His crying was because his rival (not in love - in work) was using sex to get what she wanted instead of hard work. It's ... not a great reason to cry but at least it's a real reason that's a bit personal - he also stuck up for her previously when the rumors were going around - now he's found out the rumors are true and she openly just admitted to it.

It's not the sex that he's mad about - it's the fact that she isn't giving a shit about the job - and to be honest his passion about the job while ...... actually perverted and extreme is at least something that has been consistent from the start of the series.
