I got a different vibe from it. I feel like it was less thinking of women as caretakers and more about putting women on a goddess pedestal, which is done very often among otaku circles, anime, and manga, when portraying the male MC as a useless idiot trying to get the attention of a girl. You know, typical buffoon male MC does dumb embarrassing thing, queue laugh track. The "unobtainable" female goddess.

Essentially this is the type of author who relates to and resonates with men as dirty and inept creatures that can't really hope to be as graceful as the fairer sex. The stereotypical spineless Japanese male, but turned up to 11. This manga essentially is the authors self insert for his humiliation fetish. That's basically it. As someone who hates that character archetype to begin with, the MC literally shitting himself to the bemusement of the gyaru was the last straw for me, lol.
