No. I'm saying that more often than not, the people who snipe the series never even consider helping the people that are already there and could use the help.
Because they know their help would probably be rejected lol, as like I said, there's no doubt that a dozen people are lined up right now and are willing to help the team translate if they needed it. But they clearly don't, as they always are able to suddenly release chapters quickly after they get sniped.
And if the OG's don't want to step down, they'll keep on translating.
And the entire English fanbase will keep on getting chapters a solid week after the Spanish fanbase, while the OG's apparently prioritize another series according to you lol. Oh well.
And if others want to translate it when clearly the OG's have been trying to keep up and have been posting regularly still? They want the glory instead.
I don't think random snipers uploading as "anonymous" want any glory my guy. They just want to know what is happening in the very popular manga that is at the climax of the series, without having to wait an entire week after the Spanish community gets it.
Snipers might not be aware, but even if they aren't, that doesn't take away from the fact that it's a rude thing to do. It also doesn't take away from people like you excusing their wrong approach. It's a community, so how about these snipers work together with the OG's instead?
All I'm trying to say is that, knowing or not, people that snipe instead of trying to help the people are actively scanlating are jerks, and should re-evaluate why they're scanlating the series if they insist on doing work outside the original team while they're active.
Again, they probably know their help will be refused. If the OG's are that in need of help, they should request volunteers which they'd no doubt instantly get, or just step down and let someone else take over who can focus on YnU as their top priority. As they aren't doing either, everyone just assumes they are set, which I'm led to believe as well as they are able to quickly upload whenever someone snipes them.
Yeah, snipers are rude and bad, but I'm just telling you why it happened in this case.
