Honestly this dude being the last boss or whatever feels so bad. Literally one of the worst characters in the whole manga

And like, his whole story arc was done. His shit was resolved and he was moving on in the last chapter just like all the other "visiting" characters. The only reason I can think of for wasting more time on him is that there aren't any other fights to be fought before the end.

I know we are running low on time and there is a lot of other things to answer, but I would love to understand how Kou is so overpowered in comparison to seasoned and well trained vampires.

He is a timeless vampire who knows firsthand that fell in love with human could kill a vampire through "illogical" starvation.

He saw Nazuna walking the same route and afraid that the daughter of someone he deeply love will die in the same manner with the girl he love.
So yeah he tried to "fix" the situation by removing the love subject.
