I tend to forget this too, but I always feel like Ren most definitely discriminates against guys specifically whenever she interacts with them.

Granted, I get that she tends to get a fair bit of sexual harassment and unwanted advances, but even after they apologize and she's on relatively good terms with them, she still gives them the short end of the stick whenever possible.

At least give them a heater in the tent. (I know she has one)

She said it herself, even she's not so cold hearted she'd just let them die right in front of her, and given how quickly that blizzard built up, they probably wouldn't survive the night in that tent if this weren't the relatively lighthearted comedy/slice of life manga it is.

They would all be dead already, but at the same time they are a bunch of kids. I'm a adult, I go often camping in late autumn, the first few years I often notice thing that would've been very useful but with experience come foresight also.

Not really, if you stop to think for a second, she literally helping them at many moment. Without her help, they probably still hunting with bad gear, get scam because they barely able to read, and huddling in their broken shack. Even now, they barely have any preparation for the journey and will die if she's not there to help with transportation, food and tent. What actually ridiculous is how she spoiled the girls so much, granted the girls always have her back and treat her really good.
