The author actively chooses to ignore their own plot-lines. It's kinda remarkable, really.
This story is a really nice read, but god damn, when it has a hole in it, it's enormous.

When I saw totems outside the nest, first thing I thought was ah, there's goblin shaman inside.
I blame Orcbolg for this knowledge.

Why again does she use her sub arms to harvest? By pulling out the oil she demonstrated that she can access her inventory and connect it to the outside even while in her armor.
She also demonstrated in previous chapters she can store things from several meters away.
Means she could just put all the fruit in her inventory without moving a mm. Nor moving her (sub-)arms.

I wonder what the Goblin Slayer would think about Ren's very indirect methods of goblin slaying.

Any method to kill goblin is good method in his book
