(I am in JP for now). I can say that to all the people who are used to more intense spice and flavor:
THIS dish is only tasty when they are either fresh or reheated, and even then, the 2 has different types of flavors
Normal warm meal is balanced. while the reheated one has more richer feeling of egg yolk.
(Bc other flavors are half gone)
BUT if you are really acquainted to your own cuisine, especially with strong flavors. this will reveal a lack of many tastes, as most JP dishes, despite the NaCl rich ingredients in their everything.
This revealed quite a bit of my grumble to history and stuff BUT
TBH, this is not the conclusion I would prefer to come up with, but Jps have come to too used to their mild Salt flavor.
So they imply it in more isekai than most.
Yes, I am still a weaboo, and I will still come to all stories but, to every isekai fan felt the same. U are not alone
