They did these chapters months ago, but only upload here every couple of months when traffic to their own site starts to die down. They don't even upload all of the parts when they do, c42 hasn't been uploaded here yet and they probably won't for another few months.
they require a 1-2 chapter gap with their site, so it depends on when the next chapter will be released

Also, I'm not part of their staff so I can confidently say that it has nothing to do with traffic to their site going down. They are just too busy or too lazy, which is why I upload their stuff when I have time.

damn finally got sniped by a competent group lol. seems the quality is good tho so oh well. hope they can keep better pace than me
Thank you for all your hard work. I've compared a few pages of these chapters with yours, and while you're more verbose, it seems the quality is about the same so it's more a matter of personal taste.

I paid for the translation. I pay this group to translate another manga, and I saw this hadn't been updated for 2 months at the time that they asked if there was any other manga I'd like translated. I'm not sure if they ever intended to post to mangadex, but it is what it is. I'll continue to pay for the translations forever and such, I just hope Rythyugn hasn't gotten very far into their next chapter.

Thank you guy for all the positive comments about my translations. It's always hard to get motivated to do SL when each step of the process, while not necessarily difficult, is tedious and time consuming. I find that being caught up to a series can help (especially with a series that releases its chapters in parts, like this one) since you can just take a day or two to power through the most recent chapter, but since we're so far behind in this one, it's difficult to find the time and energy needed to complete multiple chapters in one run. Your appreciation for the work that I and other scanlators do is one of the few things we have to continue with what we do, so thank you for that.

I've been told by someone from Animated Glitch that their intention is to keep their translations on their website, and the chapters were uploaded unintentionally. That being the case, I might continue to scan this series on a more limited scale, but you should still be able to read chapters more quickly on their website, depending on their release schedule.

So yeah, good luck to me and to them; it's always good to see more competent people pick things up. Let me know if there are other series you'd like to see scanlated that don't have people working on it and maybe I'll pick something else up instead, especially if they're new/caught up to raws.

p.s. while I think their translations are good all-around, sometimes even better/more accurate to the tone of the story, I have to disagree with their translation of Cain's name as Kane. idk minor complaint but Cain as a name just feels much more intuitive to me and seems like what the author is trying to go for (cuz the name Cain is in the bible, one of the few places Japanese authors look for legitimate western names idk). The only other name in this group with a more obvious translation is Kuro lol

Thank you for the translation! A little more awkward in parts compared to the other translator, and not as much help explaining things westerners might not get (like the orc miso soup joke a few chapters back that the other group gave notes for.) Regardless, I'm just glad to see this getting updated.

Thanks for the hard work, but I still hope you to continue this manga no matter how long it takes. Since sniper like this tend to do this only once for stunts then disappear soon after. Also I rarely read manga else beside mangadex since other site most of the time is inferior or just downright sketchy. So hope you still continue this series. On the other hand for suggestion for other neglected manga is kojinsa arimasu https://mangadex.org/title/350f8d87-de7e-434b-a4a6-3157a7f29b07/kojinsa-arimasu .

Kuro and Arles are semi-liquid.
Well, they are cats.

This is why I never complain about these things taking time. They do, and as long as they get done, I'm not about to complain.

I don't think quality is much of an issue either, as long as it's readable. Sure, there might be cringe translations (like a current WN I'm reading that doesn't translate "Okaa-san" and "Otou-san"), but if the message gets across, I'm fine with it. Better is better, but sufficient is sufficient.

Most of the time I don't check who's translating, though. I see a new chapter, so I click. It's kind of how I respond to comments on these forums. Read comments, respond, not really reading who wrote it. If I see the translator commenting on stuff, I might pop them a thank you comment.

It's always hard to get motivated to do SL when each step of the process, while not necessarily difficult, is tedious and time consuming.
It's always appreciated.

I checked with them and turns out they forgot to tell me (and the others that could've uploaded) :nyoron:
I hope you haven't already put too much work in those chapters :haa:

Caring about someone else translating a manga is stupid always had been. Whats important is that its in english for more people to read, not who is actually translating it. This only matters if the translation is of subpar quality, which this is not.
No, dude; you are just incorrect, sorry.

I proofread and edit for 3½ different groups, and a TON of work goes into this.

I prefer AniGli translations over BiF, any day of the week, but paying the TL, organizing the PR, the QC, the Redrawing, and any other work that goes into this is a lot of work, and can be hellish at times.

Unless you're doing all this for some title that we don't know about, you should maybe keep your uninformed opinions confined to your head.

You're showing your ignorance.

Now, if AniGli discussed it beforehand, it's not a snipe, but your opinions about sniping are just flat wrong, sorry.

Showing loyalty to a specific group is stupid. The only thing that matters is the content being out there in good quality. Your average person reading through simply doesn't care, nor should they. It sounds harsh but no one should care if you put time and effort in either. I don't care if you call it ignorant. It's doesn't need to be said that time an effort goes into any translation. Also plenty of series have multiple groups working on them. For all anyone else knew the series wouldn't get another translated chapter, happens all the time.

You could use this reasoning of yours to let groups get away with plenty of things they shouldn't. I've seen so many series with interest simply not be touched by another scanlation group just because it has been "claimed" by another group that picked it up along with 20+ other series and then proceed put out a chapter once every half a year if even. We should be blessed we're not in a situation like that with this manga.

Manga translation can change hands plenty of times, there is nothing wrong with that. Or did you forget that even this manga changed hands multiple times? That Rythyugn himself by his own words sniped this series without any warning a year ago? To complain about sniping is to say that Rythyugn shouldn't have been putting out his translation for the past year, which would be stupid. Appreciate everyone that brings you a translation(that isn't being actively malicious/scamming), but don't let yourself be beholden to them.

So... you're saying, in essence, who cares how much time and effort other people spend, as long as you get what you want.

That is incredibly shitty.

You don't automatically deserve the effort of other people, and if you don't get that, then you're either a spoilt rich kid, or a really terrible person.

Either way, I'm done.

Cheers.

The problem with snipes like this is that Rythugn cares about the series and has been actively translating for over a year, vs AGS is being paid to do it as a commission. There is a big difference in there motivation and reliability to continue. In the short term sure we may get a few chapters quickly, but after its taken from the motivated original translator it often kills their attachment, so they don't go back if the new translator drops it, and its far to common it ends up with the series ending up not being translated at all. This could very easily be a one time post, plus they have no intention of posting here, I will never go to a private translator site, if I did my follow list would quickly end up divided between hundreds of sites, forcing me to check all of them individually, f that. If they only are posting on their site then I will put it on my list of to read on a aggregator as that way I only need to check two places for my lists.

Amazing how you hyper focus on like a single line or two and ignore the rest.

lmao
