I'm liking it so far, its still tropey but at least they are writing the characters well within said tropes. I'll be interested to see how long the gag runs for before I grow tired of it if it just relies on said gag for the entire series. (I like FMC not being a pushover too)This has very quickly become one of my most anticipated manga to watch.
Old man and the nurse are such fun to watch with their sass and no BS attitude.
Thanks for TL.
I really appreciate the characters in this, also the half elf, half orc joke I love it every time lolI really like this series. The gags are solid, the MCs don't take shit from people, and despite the character designs it hasn't gone hard on being pervy.
I look forward to the oldgoblinman teaching some shitty nobles a lesson in the near future.
I imagine it's because she's so freaking tall. Probably also the brutish nature though. After all, we often see a quite scary side to her, and she's one of the least timid characters I've seen in a while. Thanks for the chapter!!
I wonder about Toki-chan being thought of as half Orc. I do think it's funny, but why? Does she look orcish or can people sense a brutish nature from her?
She also may have that more asian nose too. Manga art sometimes is poor at translating body/facial features unless it's real pronounce.I imagine it's because she's so freaking tall. Right, the nose. I forgot for a sec that manga orcs have piggish noses. She also may have that more asian nose too. Manga art sometimes is poor at translating body/facial features unless it's real pronounce.
Not all asians have the upturned nose but I think percentage wise they have more of it then westerners.Right, the nose. I forgot for a sec that manga orcs have piggish noses.
I'm not good at facial recognition, do asian people have piggish noses? or is it just Toki-chan?
I feel like if you change basic design philosophy to races you may as well make them a new race instead of throwing an old race generic race name down.i am now wondering, when dwarfs are rather tall, so not in what we expect
what is about orcs and elfes? maybe the orcs are the good looking one? but she simply has the height of an elfe?
i think this makes it only clearer that the author intends to mess with out expectationsI feel like if you change basic design philosophy to races you may as well make them a new race instead of throwing an old race generic race name down.
