Nice world building with the mana regeneration explanation. Raises more questions of what is that thing that messed up the moon and why it has changed the flow of mana.

The flashback of the MC also makes it more likely that this is the same universe but just in a different time/place. Which raises the question of what changed to create this "level up" system.
