just realized the author is the one that did Mahoraba and Wa!, no wonder the comedy and the characters are all so charming and funny
wonder what kind of drama will the author pull-off in this one.
I'm convinced the authors don't think about the consequences of such settings as much as they should. I mean why aren't the girls holding arms and why doesn't a male from her city appear and start holding the MC's arm. I bet you that custom would die off quick 😋.
@nfzeta It's common in some European countries for guys to greet each other by kissing on the cheek. Social norms can vary widely among the many countries in the world; a country where bros armlocked wouldn't be too unusual.
@nfzeta I wouldn't call it inconsistent, we have only seen two people from Hime's country, of which one of them we have only seen in her home moving very little, so we only have Hime to go off of who has only really gotten to be 'close' friends with MC due to the language barrier. We should eventually see Hime locking arms with the harem girls down the line as she gets close with them but this practice isn't the most insane nor has it been handled improperly. The whole hand sign for marriage proposal thing did certainly stretch things due to a few different reasons and Hime's country seems designed more to add more Harem-based humor but nothing has broken my suspension of disbelief personally yet so I will give it some room to breath.
