Amamiya is the guy who's name is 1 character off of Van's original name and Rodcarte gave him both blessings and I think Naruse was one of the people that actually was looking for him in Origin, but I'm not as familiar with the LN/WN so I can't be 100% on that one, he tried to save her in chapter 1.

What I find interesting his powers incomparision to the things the mc has fought before he is pretty f*cking weak.

Well, it was basically because Kanata didn't bother to level up, thinking he could speedrun things and move on.
He only had his unique skill and Origin translated skills. Even Rodiot/Idiocorte told him to go be an adventurer first to level up. He needed to use Lambda's system for at least a few months to fast level some fighter/mage jobs to increase his stats to be superhuman on par enough with Van to use his cheat skill to negate Van's much greater magic abilities and skills.

Van at this point has leveled out 5-6 mid tier jobs, has ~45 skills (2 in a higher tier) to Kanata's ~20. Even with a 7 year old's body repressing his stat growth, he is physically stronger & faster than Kanata, never mind mental processing power; only thing on par was Vitality.

Even if you think it's all a game, it takes a special kind of boy to just go full murderhobo on random NPCs on your first playthrough, potentially locking yourself out of content and OP quest rewards.

Well that line is "trying to intentionally kill him or his friends/family" and I'd argue it's reasonable to remove such a threat permanently. Before that line he can be reasoned with to a degree. I just hope he'll find a way to bring back Darcia and maybe heal a bit afterwards. Our boy needs a hug from his mom, badly!

I really don't get why this manga is so popular: it's only theme is deux ex edgelord where the MC one-ups the opponent with the same line of " I'm even more op than you knew, witness my game-breaking power number 1***!" every other chapter. And also sad that the spirits which wanted rest ended up become vengeful spirits instead, but who knows what those gods that barely tolerate their existence might've done with them otherwise, since their goddess seems to be either sealed or harmed enough she can barely do anything for them.

Actually, seeing how easily they were enraged, they probably just repressed their emotions, thinking they couldn't do anything anyway. Who knows what that would've done to their souls in the long term. Also, now they have a chance to pass down tales and traditions from Talosheim. I'd like to see them teaching the new inhabitants about their culture and knowledge, getting real solace from it and truly passing on with their regrets and their resentment cured.

naruse ended up confusing amamiya with the MC like everyone else she only finds out much much later iirc but its pretty much to late and she has a kid and some shit with the other guy
