transparent definitely isnt the right word for his power. his ability name is Gungnir and it allows him to slip through things. The word you were looking for was Intangibility

Perhaps it has something to do with the translation. “Transparent” could be the direct translation from the Japanese text used in the raws and the translator simply didn’t want to change it. Though I agree the meaning of “intangible” would’ve been more suitable
