Seriously.. even after some 35 years of exposure in LARPs , Ren Faires, and other assorted fantasy events, I still get caught out by particularly magnificent examples of Presentation of the things we boys like.

Ah, this is pretty satisfying, finally seeing arc in manga. Eleanora tanking the solar cannon shot in front of Isla is a preemo moment. Score one for the 1st Abyssal Vampire

Pretty good battle plan from Van though, but it is strange how the grunt vampires didn't all immediately burn, with only some dying. You'd think some old weapon that's used precisely for this would work a bit better.

All the "mirror" does is redirect light, and it wasn't built as a weapon, just something to provide daylight to the city inside a mountain.

Also they're not using natural sunlight to power it, just magic that mimics it, so there would be some resistance to the effects. The armor they were wearing helped too.
