@Coyote4Dogz: That person is not his Father, he is MC's Uncle from his Father's family side (since both of MC's parents in his 1st life died early).

That Uncle was mainly after the inheritance of his late Brother, so he kept their orphaned son with them and used the inheritance money of MC to enjoy their own life, while keeping things bare minimum for MC so that he won't demand anything from them (aka., the Uncle purchased bunch of stuff for his own son, using the money which legally belonged to MC).
