"Those bastards..."
...Wait what? You assault, abduct and rape people as population control, too? Doesn't your high horse suffer from it's obviously tired legs?

I'm positive the poor guy feels everything his corpse puppet feels. Remember the chapter where she was first raped? He puked and clarified he feels everything.
Control seems to be limited, probably because he is animating a corpse, but not sure.

re: vida races & job/ranks as brought up earlier in the comment section
Vida's new races as a whole don't have ranks. All of her new races have jobs, as she's a god from this world and therefore grants access to the Job system. The race having access to Ranks depends on the other 'parent'.
Dark Elves,
Titans, Beastmen, Dragonkin, Mer, etc
are pure Lambda races (other Lambda gods helped her make them), and so only have Jobs. They are generally stronger/longer lived than the originals (Human, Elf, Dwarf), as she wanted them to survive in the ruins of civilization that remained after the war w/ the Demon King & Evil Gods (invading gods). For the races that have an 'Evil God' (some changed sides against the Demon King) or monster as the other parent, those Vida races have Ranks and can have Jobs, and are therefore way stronger as an average when they have access to a Job Change Crystal. Ranked Vida races are the Ghouls, Vampires,
Scylla, Oni, Majin, Arachne, Empusa, etc
.

Dhampir don't generally have Ranks, as they have a pure race and a Vampire parent, so they are only 1/4 monster and therefore don't get access to the Rank system. Not sure what the cutoff is, might be 50/50. Maybe you could Dhampir w/ a Rank if they were conceived with a different 1/2 race (not sure Ghouls are compatible?, both are 'partial undead' already), but Dhampir'ing w/ a monster race would be 3/4 monster and lose access to the Job system.

Van rezzing someone as Undead can make them weaker, depending on their condition, but they do lose the being able to grow through the Job system (as they would now be a monster, an Undead, which is where the Ghouls and Vampires came from as 1/2 Lambda/Monster races. Their non-Vida 'parent' was an undead). They don't necessarily lose their skills, though they can reduce in skill level (or forget them, naturally occurring Undead generally lose themselves to mindless monstering), but they gain access to Ranks instead. Though if Undead'ing a Vida race that already had Rank, like turning a Vampire into an Undead Vampire (weird, but yes), they don't gain anything they didn't already have (aside from maybe the whole immortal thing... not needing to eat or breathe i guess?) and just lose the Job growth path.

Loving watching Basdia fight, for two obvious reasons.

Still, it is tough to think of those "noble orcs" as tough. I mean they're fat bastards with bowl cuts. It would be humiliating to even have to fight such an absurd creature.

@The5thSeraph The manga doesn't express it well, but Basdia is a Rank 4 person, Vigaro and Zadiris are Rank 5, and Noble Orcs start at Rank 6. The higher the Rank, the bigger the scale. Van got an skill that increases the strength of his followers, meaning that those under him get an extra boost in strength, although that depends on the level of his skill yet. So basically, for a Rank 5 to kill a Rank 6, it would usually mean that he has higher level skills (like Sword, Axe and so on, instead of just relying on brute strength).

But a Rank 4 to win against a Rank 6? No way really, if Van hadn't shared his "Danger Sense: Death" with Basdia, allowing her to predict her own death, she wouldn't even have the time to evade those attacks with her speed, much less chance since her strength is also unable to defend against those attacks. Without that support, she was literally going to be OHKO all those times she evaded.

Basdia is that much weak against the Noble Orcs, it's a difference of 2 ranks, it would be, by all chances and purposes a suicide, but then again, she got Van's support, and her skills are better trained. In Raw values, the Noble Orc wins, but since he has less battle experience and is more used to trampling, he lost against an enemy that can predict all his attacks.

Be that as it may though, they're still fat orcs with bowl cuts.
They haven't done anything to demonstrate greater strength. It is literally just "they're stronger because the number says so, take our word for it".
It would still be humiliating to lose to something like that, all your efforts and training losing to a shitty haircut.

Not that the protagonist is much better, being literally a toddler, but at least he has been shown doing impressive things.

Unfortunately, for such a dense novel, the manga ends up losing a lot of context in comparison.

I'm not sure if this would be treated as spoiler at this early point in the novel, but here is an overview of the Status System and its reflections in human society, I will avoid context in the story, and just give an explanation on the mechanics and how it reflects back:
Unlike other novels where you have only MC being a super cheat, and recognized as the only one as such, in this story, the author readily admits that "Humans can turn into super men compared to Origin and Earth", thus, if the numbers are higher, then it doesn't matter if they are a baby with super high numbers, or a giant with low numbers, the numbers will take precedence (so a super fat person can be super fast, and a super muscular person can be weaker than a baby [You may ask "Then what's the deal with having muscles?", they actually do have improved strength for their levels from over training their bodies, and it's not like the system doesn't have its limitations]).

It's to the extent that a super high level person cannot be killed by a normal person, as in, even if the super high level person allows himself to get stabbed, the damage will be that low, or it just won't work, and that's part of their physics now.

This is a world where the concept of status is not only known and worked on, but it has high impact on society, and it's not something that only a "select few" can reach (you have some other novels where there are this random natives who, usually by some rare equipment or some rare ability, are able to reach inhuman levels of strength that completely highlights them as different from the rest of the population), because B Class Adventurers and above are already considered "Super Men" by other world standards (One time the author was asked where MC, as the Undead from Origin, would be in the Rank powers as a monster, and the answer was "Around Rank 8", so the Undead with 100M Mana and Death Magic could be easily dealt by a party of B Class Adventurers, or a single A Class Adventurer ), that is not to say that C Class are not strong, as they are half-way there already.

So, let's make a ridiculous practical example: if all the A Class and S Class Adventurers decided to, for some reason, take over the human Kingdoms/Empires through force to unite the whole Human Society, would it be realistically possible? As long as they can eat and so on, that's totally feasible, they would wipe out the armies, although maybe some Elite units could have equivalent power to them. There is also another problem in regards to the Gods, if for some reason they decide to interfere, the Gods can send their familiars to power up the defending side, thus, those numbered amount of Adventurers we called upon would face a hard attrition battle there.

Thus Priest Gordan, who is equivalent to B Class, and the Five Colored Blades, who captured Darcia and are a B Class Party, could easily deal with those Noble Orcs, thanks to their high level and job changes, that highly increased their numbers (Super efficient). The Ghouls however have no job change room to change jobs on their settlements, as such, their strength comes from hard work (Very inefficient in comparison). Noble Orcs meanwhile are monsters that can't have jobs, but as a superior species, their base stats are pretty high to the point that they are already born at Rank 6.

Why is this system made to make such unbalanced human beings so "high in their power levels"?

This is from the Chapter 3 of the novel, I'm placing it on "spoiler" because it's somewhat long, I also fixed some of the problems on the translation, since today we know more context to understand the mistakes at the time:
The world created by these events was peaceful. The people believed in their gods, the Dragons Gods and True Giants were wise; there was plenty of wildlife in the mountains for them to eat without fighting over territory and there were bountiful blessings in the sea.

However, the peace was shattered by the appearance of the Demon King Guduranis from the abyss beyond the stars.

After descending upon Lambda, Guduranis began a war to take over the world using the evil gods that were his servants.

The Demon King’s tainted Mana gave birth to monsters such as Orcs and Goblins that had never existed in Lambda before, and the Demon King used them to fight the other gods.

Though the people of Lambda had polished their fighting skills for competition and hunting the wildlife that sustained them, they were thrown into chaos as they had never experienced a fight to the death and the gods were driven into a corner. The war-god Zantark, the dragon-emperor god Marduke, the Giant god Zerno and the others fought bravely with their followers and the genie Ricklent bestowed magic upon the humans and gave them commands, but they could not turn the tides of the battle. The beast-god Ganpaplio put up a good fight, but was eventually destroyed.

To fight the Demon King’s forces, Zuruwarn, the god of space and creation, summoned seven champions from another world.

The seven champions taught the people techniques for fighting, gave them the knowledge to make great weapons and fought bravely at the front lines themselves.

And so, through battle after battle, the Demon King was finally destroyed and sealed away; not even a single piece of his body remained. The evil gods that were his subordinates lost their powers; some were destroyed and others were sealed away into a death-like state.

However, the final result was difficult to call a victory.

The war-god Zantark was cursed by the evil gods and fell into darkness; Peria sank into the depths of the oceans and Shizarion returned to the wind. Botin was sealed deep within the earth while Ricklent and Zuruwan entered a deep sleep to regain their power.

Marduke was torn to pieces and Zerno’s heart was destroyed. Their followers’ powers weakened; the number of dragon gods grew fewer and the monster dragons increased in number*. The giants became monsters that worshiped evil gods.

Finally, there were only three champions left and the population of the people had decreased to the point that even if the Elves and the Dwarves joined the remaining humans, who had a considerable population before the conflict, they were barely able to maintain a single city.

The remaining population was not enough to sustain civilization and culture. Even after the Demon King was defeated, the surface of Lambda was overrun by monsters that had been corrupted by his Mana during the conflict with his forces, and there were Devil’s Nests all across the lands. The surviving monsters began to breed and multiply endlessly.
That was the sort of enemy they were facing, one that could have literally wiped out everything, and thus the system was made to help humans to reach the power necessary to fight such enemy that even the Gods couldn't deal with, meaning, you can expect some really ridiculous power grinding even from native humans, and you can see overwhelming abilities starting from B Class.

Why is there such a system you may ask? Isn't this just the authors lazy writing to have to make some excuse for such catastrophe that he himself made? Well, that would be spoiler for manga readers, but the answer is somewhat simple, and although I don't have when it was first mentioned on the novel, I did found it on the Side Chapter 5 of the 3rd Arc (A famous side chapter in fact, as it's the first one to reveal a bunch of stuff in regards to the story of the world, although most of that is irrelevant here), and it's
Ricklent, the God of Time and Magic Abilities, changed the world by creating the Status System (Which could be said to also change physics in the world) to allow humans to fight the forces of the Demon King (Who is technically a God from a Foreign World that invaded Lambda), the idea came from Zuruwarn, the God of Space and Creation (Who is a prankster of sorts and loves to travel to other worlds), who had seen it in games played by natives in other worlds. But the native people of Lambda couldn't properly understand the real value of the system created, and thus the Champions were summoned to lead and guide them. That's basically a short explanation leaving a lot of context behind.

hmmm seems they skipped out on the other adventuer girls and just had Kachia show up only there, also yeah this manga has either not gotten to it yet or won't explain it but, stuff like Vital spots and all that don't work aswell in Lambda. It might do more damage but it doesn't mean its fatal anymore because people gots Vitality aka HP. Stats are king no matter what shape or form you are. Your life choices aka stuff like being muscular only influences things like what Job you might unlock or what Rank/Race you upgrade to depending on your race and such.

I do feel bad for the kidnapped ghoul girls, but I hope they don't fall into the easy "how dare they do this". If ghouls can kidnap, convert and breed females, other races can kidnap and breed ghouls. They don't have any moral standing.
