I think the author is showing their hand a little here, waited as much as they could to add Fuku, a girl character to draw tons of yuri with Yotaka, and then immediately added a creepy guy saying "Yotaka is mine" as a kind of straw-man audience stand in for anyone upset with her new yuri dynamic with Fuku, not sure I like how blatant that is, could've just been more open about it from the start if you just wanted to draw yuri man lol

If they wanted to do yuri they should've just done it in the first chapter. Waiting this long only to stall the plot just so you can argue with critics through a strawman is an actual "fuck you" to the audience. Like you know exactly what kind of people you were attracting with this series.

Yeah I don't get retroactively adding yuri into your story then making up a guy and making him a creep to point at and say "that's you audience, if you don't like yuri, you are literally this guy" when it was very clear Yotaka would appeal to many straight men and there weren't really any hints of yuri in the first chapters. Just make it a yuri series from the jump with your full chest if that's what you wanted dude lol

Hold on, I was under the impression that Yotaka had saggy breasts because she was wearing no bra but turns out she was indeed wearing one! Doesn't that mean she's wearing a poor fitting one?

This, like I can kinda see the subtle hints towards Yuri throughout the series (small remarks made by Yotaka and that one chapter with her neighbor) but it would've been better if it was just mask-off from the start.

Not only that but like.. what exactly is the appeal of Fukuhara beyond her design? She's basically a younger and flatter Yotaka, there's no actual spice to that dynamic other than "wow isn't that cool that they're basically the same!". I personally think Takanashi and Fukhara work a lot better together imo.

I get a feeling this new assassin guy is gonna be some kinda comedic relief. Like author is gonna use him for tension, but keep on pulling back on us, to say "gotcha" like the last panel.

Thank God someone says it, I'm really tired of these series that are advertised as a non-yuri but then a few chapters in, boom you get flashbanged by yuri. This happened in ririsa no jigen too, It's just a marketing tactic to bait people who arent into yuri to read their series for more clout when the author wanted to do yuri from the get-go. But i would say this instance is far worse than ririsa no jigen, since its literally saying "fuck you" to the audience. I wouldn't be mad if they just did this from the get-go then i wouldnt have wasted my time. Dropped instantly
