So we picked up a new project, and this time it's one of our passion project.

As in so passionate that we don't even know why we do this to ourselves, we just look at the picture and said, "art looks pretty, good enough for me".

So far the story seems to best enjoyed in manga form as the light novel is sorta tedious to read.

For those who have high expectation please keep those on check as this is mostly high school science mystery series with very little (non existent) romcom aspect.

Is the manga told entirely in the past tense/in flashbacks?

The light novel volume always start with a prologue showing both the main character interaction and told like they were seperated in the future(like the first part of chapter where the FL give a letter to the ML), but we really haven't been told about what happen in the future as of volume 3.

I feel like this manga has a vibe similar to anime Hyouka :pepehmm:

Im liking it so far, its giving me a unique vibe that I can't pinpoint how to describe. Also I'm really liking the opening pages on this one.

Im not liking that if thats gonna be the ending to this story...

In the light novel, it's possible that they might meet.

That is such a dumb stretch.
I understand if it's like a heart-shaped stone, or even 2 bent tree trunks to be able to persist over the years.
But the gap between the trees leaves?

in my crude romance scalar, I guesstimate their romance would develop by a fraction of the human scientific history. It's mainly due to their scientific nature that suggests they would likely perform in depth, scientifically-proven experiments to uncover the ostensibly fleeting, yet vivid feeling of the sudden release of catecholamines, which activates the sympathetic nervous system, and in doing so, increases the myocardial contractility and triggers tachycardia and simultaneously, the brain's reward system releases high level of dopamine.
Those aforementioned phenomena is my hypothesis for their high probability of developing a loving relationship. Prove me wrong otherwise.

Also. It is in my contention and highly reasonable opinion that the development of their romance would most likely outperform those so-called socially inept homo sapiens, which many require the length of the Great Expansion of Africa to symbolize and communicate their romantic feeling, and the entirety of the human civilization to enter into holy matrimony.
