it is alright, though if this turn anime, i likely won't watch it because they use the same gag way too much.
"hot guy come, answer question, got killed" or "another assassin who actually strong and can put up a fight but they actually are loner and just want someone to love them"
It can became a bit too repetitive for my liking.

it does have some moment but it still reverse back to that "he is hot, oop i killed him" gag anyway since that is the running gag with the MC

Eight volumes and a story that, despite repetitions, has good high points. Just like Sakamoto Days and Spy x Family which are series based on action (and families), the feeling is that it takes a little of both and tries to play in a slightly different way.

The only question remains: "Who is Lyla?" Just whistle.
