If I remember correctly, I think it's implied that 'everyone' knew Shuri came from beyond the continent but it seems like only Ganggrave knows for sure that Shuri isn't from their world and that was kept that way for general safety reasons and all that.
So I think Teg still went across the sea because with the intention to see if he could find Shuri's homeland and parents but also fueled by the need to adventure and explore.

Each one has a different dish, don't they? For most of their favorites, it's because that soup means "family" like the King and Queen's couple dish.

yeah, the only mention is just that, nothing after that (mostly just revolved each character without mentioning him except their favorite food)

Prolly not, other than the 'merchant' isekai that goes 'back and forth'/convenient portals, there was also that 'friend pov' chapter that was like "I never heard from him again"
