Sometimes devotion for a cause is the greatest form of blindness. And people who blindly kill for it are usually incapable of thinking for themselves anymore. They require external commands in order to live. And without then, they believe there is no purpose in their life. There are also some who would rather continue to lie to themselves and pretend they are still the good guys than admit that they no longer are, because doing so would be too mentally difficult for them to handle.

They can probably justify it with the usual excuses: "it's for the greater good", "sacrifices are necessary to protect our people", "we did what we had to do", "they left us no other choice", etc. From the point of view of G-Cup, yokai are amoral monsters at best and an evil human-eating plague at worst. Like zombies. Would you stop killing zombies because some of them may resemble normal humans? Wouldn't you treat humans who help spread the zombie plague as traitors and enemies of humanity? That's probably G-Cup's mindset.

Mist its simpler than that, humans are the most xenophobic genicidal species around, they need no excuses or justifications when it comes to another race, especially since the head of G-Cups organization isn’t even human himself and none of them have seemed to have noticed that fact even when meeting the leader in its talisman enshrined room.
