Nah man, this was before he became a magistus card. After this event, he’s going to acquire some new summoning based power and be able to special summon himself from the hand, thus becoming an effect monster.

First can't be destroyed by battle EXCEPT against Normals and unaffected by monster effects
Cocytus can't be targeted or destroyed by card effects....could be. Cocytus is a weaker version than First..I think you got a point there!
