I am a little surprised at Yugami-kun's wavering towards friendship. To me friendship is mainly about mutual trust, and I think that exists between Yugami and Chihiro. They talk a lot, they help each other out. Yugami's friendship might not look like others's, but everyone experiences their relationships differently because everyone is different. Yugami can't just rant about rakugo with anyone, but Chihiro doesn't really mind it. That seems like friendship to me.

To be honest, this development made me pretty happy for some reason, I'm not even worried about the outcome.
