Going to be a bit sad when I finish reading this. It's been a very interesting read so far

I'm kind of disappointed that they resolved it positively. Maybe "disappointed" is the wrong word because I still really loved this ending, since (1) it's still realistic and (2) happy endings are nice; but I can imagine an alternative timeline where Yugami, even if he would probably feel bad for Chihiro, doesn't consider her his friend still (not that he outright says he does even here, but it's implied).

Yugami-kun didn't do anything wrong… it's strange to get mad just because he doesn't see me the same way I see him… (page 9)

What if Chihiro's thought ended up being right?

What if Chihiro's thought ended up being right?

I think Chihiro's right to think that way, it was a wise pondering, but that doesn't mean Yugami can't value her, specially with people around him who are more mindful of her.
