shame it only has a CM instead of an anime. I feel like if it ever gets an anime and has a good studio that can really make the comedy work, it would be a really good fucking anime.

The voice acting in the CM is exactly how I imagined their voices to be lol.

Hey, The genre tags missing "romance". check the MAL. Doesn't it feel weird there were some hints of shipping yugamixchihiro but there is NO romance for genre tags?

@vjdeansa It's not like the tags on MAL are assigned by the author or publisher, so they don't carry more weight than the tags on, say, Mangadex or MangaUpdates. Besides, the lack of romance tag doesn't necessarily mean there is absolute no romance, just that it's not what the manga revolves around. In the same vein, a tragedy tag doesn't mean a manga will have a downer ending, and the lack of that same tag doesn't guarantee a happy ending either.
If you have to read well into volume 14 (out of 16 volumes) to find some shipping moments, then I think we should leave the romance tag out. Reading the early comments, I can see some people were frustrated because the romance they had expected was not there.

Isn't it just Yugami's perspective right before he gives Chihiro the rakugo ticket in chapter 81?

I think Sakura said volume 16 has more extras/omake than usual and even got them to include the 4-panel strip on the inside cover for the digital version this time (previous digital volumes don't have them, I believe).

@youdontknowwho well, agreed and considered ur pov before mein comment. i'm just those type of people who really care about plotting. and yeah, after reading ur reply i remembered the reason i follow this manga because its uniqueness in early chps which showed us a boy-girl relation with no romance. glad i remember that. tbh.

I didn't. I only gave spoilers about their moments long, long before and that has nothing to do with the recent chapter. Not even mentioning "confession".
What parts do you hear from people? All I have seen so far, some have hypothesized (like me), but most of them don't over-emphasize the aspect of romance even though they are curious.

For my Indonesian friends, M&C localized the first 4 volumes of Yugami as "Friendless Yugami", though sadly they've stopped localizing the series.
Maybe if we email them/buy the volumes, they would reconsider picking up volume 5 onward \o/

After searching through why the Indonesia localization stopped at vol 4, I found out that M&C and Elex used to partnered with "eBook Initative Japan" to create an Indonesia eBook shop/store called MangaMon from around 2015 ( I didn't know about this platform at all ). But sadly, as of May 2019, MangaMon services and sites have been closed. Reasons are... unknown to me, some people speculated that it's because not many people were using the services.

Friendless Yugami was one of the many localized (and maybe some Indonesian) comics that was distributed there. I don't know if they have localized volume 5 upward exclusively on MangaMon. But if they did, then maybe that's the reason why there are no physical releases of vol 5 upward. I might be wrong, and they just stopped because they find out that Yugami doesn't sell well here.

Oh, also, on Gramedia's official site, Friendless Yugami's volumes are all out of stock. You can find them second-hand from Tokopedia, etc. I'll check out my local Gramedia to see if they have Friendless Yugami on stock.
