I really loved following this manga and it's a shame it was so short. I was hoping for it to at least be the usual 2-3 volumes, but it ended well without any loose ends and without feeling rushed so I'm satisfied. I just wished we had a few more chapters of the teasing/toxic dynamic we saw in the first 3 chapters.

Man, people can no longer distinguish a short story from an axed one.

The story rounded up quite nicely with barely any open threads left. It's just the classic type of romance story that ends once they get together.

The only thing left totally unresolved is the missing father, though since it was mostly told for backstory purposes it doesn't really need more development.

I'm glad it ended where it did. We don't need the typical clichés where a sudden rival appears. Or a childhood friend moves back to town. Or once the main couple gets together, we now start focusing on the relationships of the supporting cast.

Seriously, fuck the second half of The Anemone Feels the Heat. That shit stank.

This was short and sweet. A good 7/10 story.

Goddang that's a great ferriswheel kissing scene! Probably the best I've seen in yuri for now. The only disappointment I've gotta say is that I kinda wish there's a panel where she did introduce her very lovely, prettiest girl in the class girlfriend to her mom but still I am satisfied. (I knew this is a short serialization, yes). Still hoping we get a bonus timeskip where Hikaru is a wealthy CEO and they're living together happy with her mom.

Now to wait for the 7 day girlfriends ending. I hope its as good as this one.
