yeah they're def too small. the only other reason i can think of if he was at school/if they do those 'lineups' in elementary school b/c i remember one girl always stepped on the back of my feet and made my shoes like that idk if it was passive aggressive or on purpose b/c i was moving too slow for her but i distinctly remember my teacher writing on my report card for my parents to check my shoes as opposed to asking me directly why they'd be like that lol
