Interesting premise ruined. They could have not known completely and interacted in the present, now who cares? There's no point, they might as well just be dating now if they like each other and they know each other's secret

Them finding out that they're both dreaming so early is pretty weird, I feel like it will lead to their relationship having less progress now because they obviously get more embarrassed knowing that they're interacting with a real person.

And I honestly hope that it won't actually turn into a generic harem story, that art in the first chapter did kind of hinted to that but hey it wouldn't be the first time that the art doesn't really mean that much. It could also imply that all these characters are the ones dreaming and the mangaka choosing to focus on one guy and several women even if it's not a harem situation wouldn't be that shocking either. But what we can definitely expect is one or two love rivals

Edit: I just checked and two of the girls in that art in the first chapter are the fmc, so two more girls one of which we know is into the mc. To me that still looks more like we'll get a love rival than it actually turning harem. Which to be fair, I still don't like but it's at least better. But who knows, maybe that's just me being hopeful

Well one of the girls is apparently the coworker from the beginning of the story, so if she is also one of the dreamers she can very well make an appearance as someone who is in a middle school close to their high school, and since she has a crush on him use the situation to at least get close to him in her dream, not knowing that he is also dreaming. Therefore becoming a love rival. As for the other girl, since we know nothing about her, she might really just become another person who's also dreaming and not really having any romance to her story, like maybe she was generally unhappy with high school so now she wants to have fun or something. In that way it might just be one love rival instead of a harem.

And about the rules, I think the author was implying that he just memorized her phone number and didn't have it on his phone. Which would be in line with her appearance not changing. This generally would mean that they aren't really affecting the future at all, except for the future of the people dreaming as they now know a second, different version of the situations they were in.

Tbh, really like the 5 chapters but have big worries for the future because like other people said seems a lot of other will be in the dream and that it will become harem. To me this would be great if it was just them. Even if they know they are dreaming that they would just do stuff together they never did in the past. I hope it will be like that but really doubt it.

Ryouma has some of the best art. Harem's are not his style although echi situations are almost certain to occur. I still want more of his confined by a JK story but this has been a pleasant addition and a good start, if a bit late, to the new year for manga.

I still hope she's Kitada's self-insert's girlfriend from the JK story rather than just similar design.

I like that thought and it makes sense of why the initial premise was abandoned so quickly. They redo their high scool life becoming best friends. Then become a couple in the real world.
