I like the story but I hate this Tenko guy. His philosophy rests on the idea that the Three Families are absolute existences. He talks about being weak, but he's the strongest Tenko. Without the MC, he'd be one of the people the weak can't allow to exist. His philosophy works entirely around the idea that he is weaker than someone who is stronger than everyone else, period.

Because if his ideals play out, then there'd just be one person left in the world after all the 'getting rid of the strong'. What happens when there's two people left, and one guy can bench twenty more pounds than the other? He's insanely strong in comparison because the scale just includes the two of them. An infinite distance apart, relatively speaking. So he's got to die, too.

In short, Nadare's a fucking idiot, hypocrite, and entitled elitist. "We can't allow someone stronger than us. But we can be stronger than everyone else because we are powerful enough to say that's the way it is." Fuckin'... what?

I hope Kogarashi goes berserk and ends up killing him alongside the rest of the Tenko elders. The haremcould then try to bring the kind Kogarashi back. It could make an interesting arc.

What is it with the authors and their stupid villain overpowering shit and always making the good people have to face stupid power trials or other shit? Had it been me that is fighting that "oh I'm weak and the strong one wants me to fear him, help me everyone else!" victim bitch I would have decapitated and cut him to pieces corpse party style before he got his power back or did some crooked shit, but noooooooo the good guy ALWAYS HAS to go through some shit because they let the bad guy stall for time with their childhood memories while they secretly get stronger or activate a trap and even worse they let them live because they think the bad guy is going to finally develop some common sense, logic and reason making them become good.

You know, that's why I like that MC from an isekai manga where he just ones hit kills everyone else by saying DIE. He really knows how to get rid of stupid pests.

I think Nadare's obviously incoming redemption will be more believable than if Shakuhito gets one. The former while being the head still seems like a pawn of the elders but still thinks about the situation while the latter follows his father and just goes with the flow to satisfy his desires.

@Kayriel I was thinking the same thing, the guy is beating around the bush saying pretty words to justify something that is unjustifiable.

But you can extract something of all that verbal puking, he is saying that he is a sad spoiled little boy that don't like the constraints of his family, so he is having a fit ( by order of his family too ) because he is too much of a pussy to own his shit.

So much BS in his philosophy talk I'm gonna assume he is just throwing some BS to stall for time like he said.
Honestly can't find any arc where author needs to nerf their MC for the baddies to have a chance as interesting.
Either go full OPM or HSDK style.
