Welp, let's hope glasses girl hops the train before it's too late <_<..
Aikawa (Or whatever her name was) is kind of insufferable right now.. she's totally aware of how glasses girl sees her, but is going at it sorta non committal, while licking around with that guy, who ALSO seemed aware that she is sorta paying attention to glasses girl.
Guess it's still in earlier chapters (not that I know how many it ultimately has), but right now it's hard to cheer for anyone for me 😵

It's got 130+ and is ongoing so definitely early chapters! Looks good, though, so should be worth it.

because people can get very easily upset by the presence of a boyfriend in a yuri manga even when that boyfriend is not going to last.

They saw a man, I guess, and ignored the point of the title. Seems to be all it takes. It's a popular yuri series on Line though. Many chapters in. Edit: I didn't realize you were quoting someone else for some reason. I thought you were the one asking about the stars. I will say that the guy should be treated like an actual important character in the series. I don't think that's a spoiler, considering the title.

During the kiss with the boyfriend, it's almost as if Aikawa is instead kissing Katagiri through the distance, since her thoughts are totally occupied with her. And with the music Katagiri is playing on the trumpet with uh, her mouth.
The girl who warned Aikawa to not join the ensemble because of Katagiri (ch 6) seems to have a thing for her senior. It looks like she was speaking from personal experience?

There are 130+ chapters on LINE and 4 volumes out.
But chapters are usually really short (like 10 pages), so it inflates the number of chapters.
Also, it's popular on LINE. But there, it releases much faster on the phone app, so the story is faster paced for them.

Just re-read the past 6 chapters and I 100% agree. We get to see how Aikawa really feels about Katagiri in this chapter but I am still kind of lost on some of the author's decisions.
These decisions lead me to strongly believe that the author looked into bipolar when creating Aikawa with her intense swings in mood/behavior/emotions which also is reflected in how she behaves towards/acts around Katagiri and the boy. Like being a massive cunt in ch1's beginning into her self-destructive train of thought in ch4 into the high in ch7 now.
It clearly goes beyond the average high school drama and is incredibly excessive. But that is only my believe and the author most probably just wanted to create a over the top lead without thinking that deeply about it
.It does feel like she is insufferable on purpose, tho, which in turn gives room for massive amounts of development.
As for Katagiri, I am cheering for her regardless because of how she behaved after her first spot was taken and her overall view on competition/life. Really enjoyable character and her struggles are relatable.

I'm hoping that whatever happened between Aikawa and the black haired teacher will make Aikawa seem more sympathetic. Afterall, I don't think we really know what made her go from wanting to play music again because of Katagiri, back to hating it.

I'm inclined to agree. She doesn't understand her feelings and is such a frivolous person. For Katagiri to respect her so much despite her barely caring at all at the moment feels like a recipe for disaster. I know she's on her way to becoming more serious about music (because of Katagiri), but it's so unbalanced between them right now.
