Ok so the likely implication is that shinope is the girl that sakine was in love with.
Only question is what she had to do with the bullying.
I feel like the manga wants us to think that she was on board woth the harassment, but its entirely possible from what we know of her character that sakine got shinope bullied (the fact that she had a whole name change and seems to have it out for sakine makes me think it might be this). Excited to see more, thanks for the chapter!

Yeah, that's where my mind is going as well: Hibiki was Sakine's crush in elementary school (also, super impressive that she realized she was gay that early. Most kids don't figure this stuff out until high school years or later), the rest of the class or school found out, and bullying ensued. I'm kind of flipflopping between whether or not Hibiki had anything to do with it thanks to your comment. Was she also a victim, or was she the one who spread the information that Sakine was gay in the first place because of some negative reaction to a confession? Or maybe she revealed it to take the spotlight off of herself? Who's to say? Definitely invested in where this story goes, though!
