If you seriously think Bridget is trans you have a severe problem or simply wishful thinking that everyone is like you, please learn properly his story and why Strive ruined his entire motivation and character arc.

You guys have to understand once and for all that many times people wish to be the other gender because they see positives that they don't have, it doesn't mean that they FEEL as if they ARE that gender.
How many teenager girls say that they wish they were a boy once they start menstruating? Does this mean they are trans? No they are not. How many men nowadays say that they wish they were a girl because it's easier for women to start dating? Does this mean they are trans? No they are not, regardless of them being right on that thinking.

This character wants to be a girl because from his point of view and the escapism that he found (yuri), women in their game are exactly the opposite of what he is VIEWED by society. Everyone is scared of HIM and wishes he could be soft looking and be able to say cheesy lines without others being scared, so the first thing that comes to mind for him, is his yuri games. This doesn't mean he's trans, he simply has a dream where society doesn't run from him and talks to him. Him being afraid of not fully turning on the first chapter is because of his fear of being found out and kicked from his paradise, he's not afraid of having male genitalia.

This got locked on dynasty scans for the trans debate, funnily enough. I'm glad trans people (and anyone else) like it and have an MC many relate with, but I can't help feeling like opinions of this comic are not a pressing issue of our time.

There's a paid version on a slightly dodgy website (https://coolmic.me/titles/4280). Allegedly the trans reading is supported by later chapters, but the poster was vague due to spoiler rules and norms. I have not read the later chapters myself, but authorial intent and MC's preferences should become clear with time.

FWIW, trans people don't all feel like they are the identified gender, as they may feel like only cisgender people are legitimate or that their individual characteristics preclude them from transitioning successfully. This may be more common in even slightly more conservative cultures, like say the US from 1980 to 2000.

It will be good if a variety of people can continue to enjoy the story and relate with the MC.

Edit: I decided to risk giving a slightly sketchy site $5 through paypal. I notice that the official translators chose to have Misono use she in her private thoughts:

We shouldn't read too much into since the original likely used no pronouns, but it would have been an attempt by the translator to properly convey the work.

This later seems to be what the person on dynasty scans was referring to:

"I wish I was born a girl... However, something is not quite right. I don't think I only have the heart of a girl in me."

To which MC is told: "I'll respect you no matter what you choose to be."

Narratively, the MC is trying to figure herself out (this is enough for me to use herself). Unlike readers claiming total certainty, she isn't able to emotional separate her specific hangups to know whether she wants to be another gender. She will find out once she works through those hangups, with the story being her chance to do that.

Given the popularity of cross dressing works and that this is a piece of fiction, I'm not sure why they'd put this much effort into a questioning phase if the MC's eventual conclusion is that she is fine being a man. Nonetheless, a person like this in real life could come to either conclusion.

Second Edit: Minor spoilers ahead, but the story as a whole feels LGBT coded to me. We see the MC not feeling like she is really a girl but also having unrealistic standards for what girls are like (eg, MC was more pure and innocent than Misono or most other characters even pre-isekai), MC panicking when being touched because she feels like she's doing something bad to another person if they touch her, a lesbian character saying she questions if it's okay for her to be in the school, "heart of a girl" used as a stand in for transgender in a culture that may not have the word transgender, and MC is being called "monstrous" and out of place in a recent update.

All of these are invocations of common experiences in the LGBT community. An example is many lesbians (and gay men) will panic when touched. Someone once told me that the lesbians at her college resolved this through hazing by repeatedly touching the new students to intentionally stress them out until they accepted physical contact. That isn't too far from how people behave in manga.

Misono herself also seems to bisexual, or at least not too concerned about gender or physical characteristics when it comes to romantic relationships.

It is for this reason that I long for the days when anime and video games was very niche and the audience was ppl who legit just wanted to enjoy them. Nowadays, with they becoming mainstream, we've got a lot of ppl that just want it to be about them. The Bridget situation is something I've learned to ignore(seriously, that topic pops up at least twice a month, Im over it lol), but people don't even bother looking at the origins of the damn character.

Getting on topic of this manga, it was clearly stated and established that the character, after being reincarnated, is a man body AND soul. Regardless of any type of stance you have in the subject, it can never be Yuri, because the dude is not one. A more accurate description is either femboy or crossdressing(or for weebs, a trap). I dont mind ppl wanting trans stuff in media, but I hate the fact that anytime we get a trap or something, it HAS to be about that.

Either way, we about to get bashed dude, but I agree with your comment lol

Why am I arguing. I don't have a strong enough feeling either way, other than if you transitioning or have transitioned then you trans. Also Gender Dysphoria is about whether you feel your the opposite gender, and not about wanting to be the opposite gender.
