I think this (at least so far) is genuinely one of my fave manga. Stories about survival and cooking tend to be my faves, and this has the addition of some utterly adorable characters. I often imagine what it would be like to be to near alone in the world, and what I'd do, and seeing that concept in manga is really appealing. Also tbh I LOVE all the random info in here, the 'dear facts' and their ilk, lmao. I really like the weird time travel component too, I wonder if we'll find out what's behind it all, I'm eager to see if there's some sci fi/magic in here too. If we don't, imo, that's ok too. It makes the story more convenient lmao, so our characters still have some hot water/electricity etc: I'm glad I get to enjoy a survival story that's only like realistic in a limited capacity, so that means it's not too gritty and dark.
