Hey everyone! We’re finally caught up with this series. From now on, new chapters drop when the author releases them (usually the first Friday of every month). Thanks for reading.
Great work, thanks. Those souls spiraling into a vortex on the last panel reminded me of water as it empties down a drain or a whirlpool which is darkly appropriate considering the setting of Momokawa.

If you want to feel a little better after reading this chapter, know that in medical facilities and nursing homes (at least in the US, not sure about Japan) both the power plug and receptacles are required by regulations & electrical codes to meet a much higher standard literally called Hospital Grade which are designed to be much more physically and electrically durable and resist becoming disconnected without considerable force precisely to thwart the kind of scenario that happened to Kanata here (though not much you can do against ghost tampering). You'll know one when you see it because they have a little green dot on the face like so:

Also in most ICUs they have their outlets located at about eye level reserved for emergency equipment to prevent being accidentally unplugged without anyone's notice, and many of the pieces of equipment they use like ventilators and IV pumps also have a small battery that is switched over to if power gets totally cut off (which is probably why Kanata even survived her hospital ordeal).

Ahh. Yeah, that'd do it. Both her experience with burning out on fear, the way she kind of drifts through these horrifying scenarios.... shes sort of on the edge of life anyways.

Also the kid with the plug was definitely the worst one. The big, bright, almost innocent eye...
