ohh, 'i wonder whether i lost more than what i'd gained'. nice stamp about living long, question like that should arise when losing the touch with the world. even loners ask themselves what they are gaining and losing, why shouldn't a hermit think the same. to not wonder is to be too assured, but character never are that flat and direct with their felling. and when the author don't wonder about such topics i feel it is quite a loss. this makes the story so much more spicy, filled with feeling. even if the feelings are rather simple.

The art is passable and as well as the characters. The MC is actually intruging but I feel like his potentially development is gonna be squandered for gags. The world isn't anything special but as with the MC has potential due to an intriguing set up. Gonna continue this but I don't habe high hopes. The first and second chapters weren't that good but it seems to be improving steadily.

Main issue with this series so far is the grammar of the translation. Not that Im not grateful for the translation it just gets hard to read at times.

@Ihaveturnedfujio That’s what I thought at first too but this story sucks. Why would he be afraid of keeping secrets? That’s what makes a Mage. Just lie. It’s like he wants to be treated as a common person.

He used a weird way to fix the well. Wouldn't you just dig deeper or somewhere else if the water dried up? I mean he did make a giant hole not long ago, so it's not impossible for him. The way he fixed it means it will never work without him there. So much for absorbing "knowledge".

That's not how wells work... XD

Well I guess you can just use it like a giant bucket if you want, though? XD Except worse because all the water will sink into the ground. They're literally designed to be porous, so water seeps into them, but with the water table receeded as it is here...

Well, "fool" is in the title, I guess :'p

The fuck, girl? Get some better clothing, will you? Even Pochi has her fur covering her entire body.

Okay, I'm sorry.

What foolishness. You'd think the author would have made him create a new, proper well, but instead he's living up to the Fool title. I guess it makes sense in its own way.
