is it just me, or does anyone else hate pochi, I dont like the art for pochi(seems out of place) or character.
MC's character doesnt seem like someone who lived 5,000 years

@rockoford No, you're not the only one that doesn't like Pochi. She's like the extremely annoying comic relief character that no one really asked for. As for the MC, I do agree that he doesn't seem like someone that has lived for 5000 years, but at the same time he's been a shut in for most of that time and we didn't really get to see what he was like before then, so him acting the way he does makes sense in a way.

The thing that baffles me is how nothing seems to have changed in this world for 5000 years. Even the language is the same.

@Callidus : It hasn't changed as much as one might expect, but it isn't like it hasn't changed at all since the protagonist has explicitly pointed out on several occasions things which are different.
Yeah, obviously not as different as one might expect things to be in 5000 years though. I think that is a case of the mangaka having no sense of the time-scales involved. It would be more believable on a scale of 500 years. But then maybe there are factors (besides magic) that hinder human development.


Oh and as for the Pochi thing, it is totally just you two. Pochi is cute. This series would be boring without her.
