@kuutearica dont listen to the other guy. Its between wn 30-34. Although the part at the end of the chapter doesnt happen in the wn.

Also personal opinion: The Manga's pacing felt really good up until the last 2 chapters. Especially this chapter the pacing felt terrible. They tried to cram way too much into it. Even just 1 more chapter would have fixed some of the pacing issues i felt easily. Also the Ogre King is suppose to be an SS rank monster, 1 whole rank higher than S rank which is what the archmage's ranks are at. SS rank is suppose to be super powerful to the point that "even while missing both his legs and his arm the ogre king can still wipe out everyone here with ease". And yet it felt like the didnt showcase it that well. Especially the scene with the parrying the black spear. It could have been a 2 page spread showing the power the Ogre King has. So much I felt could have been done to do the climax of the first arc justice but well.... we got this instead.

When Cleat, a Major antagonist later shows up then that is like chapter 70 in the web novel but after looking at the raw for the next manga chapter I do not think this is cleat anymore and instead a manga only character to foreshadow black magic.

. As far as your other questions they all involve major spoilers but there is a reason for them all. If you want me to spoil it I don't mind just DM me, I am trying not to spoil too much in the comment section every chapter (I just can't help myself sometimes because I have no one to discuss future events with).

On a side note there is a reason Gaston can use better magicraft than asley and no its not because asley is a slow learner but again that has to do with heavy spoilers.

A difference that could be a big deal between normal magic and magecraft is that it seems that Gaston has to maintain the octagon barrier spell and can't cast anything else while doing so while Asley's spell is self-sustained.
