Unless we find out later that she has a time limit, he can wait for a bit.

Also we see Kono at her house but no hints or clues that she is dead. Feels more and more like a coma ending...

To be honest, he is right in this situation. Our ghost friend has been eating his time all throughout classes. Distracting him with her shenanigans and his low test scores was a direct result of that. He had full rights to tell her that he needed some alone time to study. And it was perfectly reasonable that he would get angry when he didn't even get that as the ghost kept up distracting him even after the fact.

My own cousin died about 6 years ago and his room is almost exactly the way he left it.

Do not assume people can get over grief and throw away their departed children's stuff so easily.
